About lytechip

Advanced photonic integrated circuit technologies

about

LyteChip is an MIT spin-off company founded in 2020 that develops advanced optics and photonics technologies.

In 2021, after publishing initial research on the digital Fourier Transform (dFT) technology, co-founders Prof. Juejun Hu and Dr. Tian Gu received funding from NASA to develop an initial prototype of the spectrometer device. Dr. Erik Verlage joined LyteChip in 2022 to lead the creation of the first full-scale dFT spectrometer device. With decades of experience in photonic circuit design, our team is innovating on the forefront of the integrated photonics revolution.
